Fusible interlining (also called suit fusing, body fusing, or fusing cloth) is a base fabric coated with thermoplastic adhesive that bonds to your fashion fabric under heat and pressure. It gives shape and structure to suits, blazers, sherwanis and heavy ethnic formal wear. Double Ghoda supplies woven fusible interlining from 30–150 GSM specifically for Indian ethnic formal wear requirements.

“111 quality” is a trade-recognised name for 140 GSM woven fusible interlining — our flagship grade, specifically manufactured and stocked for sherwani manufacturing. The name is used by buyers across Surat and North India to identify this specific heavy-weight grade. It is Double Ghoda’s top-selling product.

Indian garment manufacturers prefer heavier 100+ GSM fusible interlining for suits and sherwanis — significantly heavier than the international standard. For blazers and structured jackets, 80–120 GSM is typical. Collar interlining and shirt plackets use lighter 30–60 GSM non-woven grades. This is why Double Ghoda specifically stocks the full 100–150 GSM woven range.

PA (polyamide) double-dot coating is applied to the base cloth using a scatter-glue process. The double-dot pattern distributes adhesive more evenly across the cloth, resulting in faster fusing (18–25 seconds at 125–145°C) and stronger bond strength compared to single-coat grades. This is critical for interlining fabric for suit manufacturers where fusing quality directly affects garment shape and durability.

Woven fusible interlining has a fabric structure — threads woven in both directions — giving it higher tensile strength, better shape retention and durability under dry cleaning. It is used for structured garments: suits, blazers, sherwanis. Non-woven fusible interlining is produced by bonding fibres rather than weaving — lighter, cheaper, suitable for collars, cuffs, plackets and lighter garments where full structural support is not required.

Yes. We stock a full range of polyester lining fabrics — Jacquard (top seller), Satin, Satin Dobby and Taffeta — in 55–85 GSM, supplied in 45m rolls. Lining is used inside suits, blazers and sherwanis to hide the interlining and tailoring work, and give a clean finished interior. Top colours: black, blue, white, off-white.
